Aufgaben Within the Marketing and Sales Organization of Mercedes Benz AG, we are driving Digital transformation in the whole value chain and along the entire customer journey with a focus on Retail, Sales and Digital Business. The Automotive industry is pivoting like never before and the recent pandemic has only made our digital vision more relevant than ever.

Within the business unit, our department is responsible for Data Management and Data Monetization which covers data topics like analytics, engineering and privacy.

Internship overview:
Internships are all about new experiences, challenging sprints, creating connections and your moment of truth to deliver value! During this internship, you will have an opportunity to conceive, design and orchestrate solutions to some of the pressing issues in the corporate world and especially for our industry. The intended solutions will potentially make a strategic impact for us and our customers. A dynamic and multicultural work environment complimented with mentorship and guidance will be instrumental in kick starting or accelerating your professional career!

    Your tasks would be to:
  • Research & specification of Data Privacy and Customer consents (with focus on GDPR) covering all different aspect of modern connected vehicle and related services
  • Perform Customer Data Privacy gap analysis at System and Function Level
  • Work in close collaboration with Function Owner to review preliminary function impact in respect of Data Privacy and update requirement and use cases
  • Ideate, conceptualize and co-create Customer Privacy solutions together with several cross functional stakeholders (IT, Data protection and Sales)
  • Interact with internal and external customers to derive requirements toward privacy designs of customer facing applications

Profil
    You are the best fit for this role with:
  • You have studied in areas such as business administration, industrial engineering, information technology, business informatics or comparable studies with focus on business / technical field
  • Having legal educational background is a plus

  • Skills to collaborate with cross functional teams to build and establish Privacy Culture in the organization through different activities and initiatives in order to make Privacy by design and Privacy by default principles as an integral part of our products and services
  • Passion in facilitating workshops, communicating and tracking performance measures
  • Affinity to topics of Data privacy laws, GDPR, privacy compliance and customer consent management

  • Skills to prepare cost-benefit analysis, business case and empirical based research for data privacy initiatives
  • You have passion to learn quickly various tool chains and application landscape, high level architectures, data models, App and web system diagrams
  • There will be plenty of opportunity to upskill and acquire deeper knowledge in these areas
  • You count self-reliance, agility and resilience as your personal competencies
  • You are a quick starter and have organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • You are a natural communicator
  • Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and German
  • Experiences with MS-Office
  • IT knowledge of Agile development and high interest in acting as a business analyst to identify and articulate requirements and demands for technical teams
