Aufgaben
  • lead and develop a team of project buyers at several national and international sites, for the Business Sector Refractive Surgery, Digital Health and Advanced Development

  • understand the strategy and roadmap of the relevant Business Sectors, and make it transparent to the team

  • ensure that project buyers are fully and early integrated in the project teams as responsible team members to take over all procurement topics in the projects, with focus on costs, timeline, and an optimized and secured upstream Supply Chain for serial production

  • ensure that the procurement-related project targets are aligned with the global category strategies, in close cooperation with the colleagues from Category Management

  • make innovation potential of suppliers visible to foster joint developments with external partners

  • contribute to the further professionalization of the global Project Procurement function, such as improving and harmonizing processes across the different sites, establishing KPIs, etc, in close cooperation with peer-department heads


Profil
  • University degree (diploma/master) in Business Administration or Engineering, or similar

  • minimum 5 years' experience in strategic procurement in a global company, preferably in a regulated industry

  • professional experience in a (development) project environment

  • ability to motivate a team across several sites

  • strong business acumen, and assertiveness

  • ability to structure processes and set priorities

  • fluent English; German is a plus
